The formal definition
A PawnTrusted item is one that PawnTrust, or a PawnTrust-authorized specialist, has inspected and confirmed to be:
- Authentic. Verified genuine — not counterfeit, replica, or misrepresented.
- Accurately described. The brand, model, materials, and included items match the listing.
- Condition-graded. Inspected and assigned an honest condition grade you can rely on.
The 30-day return policy
Every PawnTrusted item is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee:
- You may return a PawnTrusted item for any reason within 30 days of the delivery date (or in-store pickup date).
- The item must be returned in the same condition you received it, with any included accessories and packaging.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, you get a full refund of the item price to your original payment method.
- If an item is found not to match its authentication or description, PawnTrust also covers return shipping.
Items without the icon
Items without the PawnTrust icon are sold as-is directly by the pawn shop. They are not covered by PawnTrust authentication or the 30-day return guarantee. You still buy from a verified, licensed pawn shop with secure checkout — just without the added PawnTrusted protections.
